What I'd like to see in your app is a basic idea of what you'd like from your character. Like gender, race, powers, personality, things like that. We realize and encourage the fact that a character will change with your roleplaying, with other people's input, and with seeing what works best for the game. However, you must have some sort of an idea when applying, and try to flesh it out. Once Ryan receives your app, we will talk to you about it, and things can be changed and added. When sending in an app of any kind, we'd like you to consider the following (as dictated by our evil, scrutinizing, experienced Application Reviewer Ryan!) :

(note from me : please try to include world and age at time of latest death ^^ if you don't know, we can always discuss, of course!)

History :: I look for a good description of the character's past. One that will give some reason for the personality the chara has, but still leaves things to the imagination, so that you can fill in holes thru later SL's and such. ^^
Physical Description :: This should be more than a couple sentances. I want to be able to picture the character in my mind. I look for the eye color, hair color and hair style (This is an anime/fantasy/sci-fi RPG, so remember, hair and eye colors can be pretty much any color of the rainbow), build, and the style of clothes they usually wear.
Emotional Description :: This should give a good description of the chara's personality. It should be a couple lines at least, not a couple words. Listing any neat quirks here is a good idea. (IE: A Animal-lover who fears plants.) Strengths and weaknesses are good to list here, too. And remember, perfect chara's are boring. A perfect chara better have a darn good explanation for being so.
Affiliation :: Good, Neutral, or Evil. ^^ Currently, we have no evil players, however, we're always looking for some! So if you go that route, your character will be mostly interacting with NPCs controlled by the GM, unless you decide to bug the good people constantly.
Powers :: This is one of the areas I grade the hardest. For each power you list, I look for a description of the power, what the power will do to the target, what can block the power, how loong it can be sustained, or the drain it causes on the user, and of course, the name. General groups (IE: White Magic), should have a sub-list of useable spells, though I won't require it. At least describe the kind of things inclided caster and common effects of things included in the power group.
Lastly, Weapons and Special Items :: These are any special weapons or Items the chara owns. They don't need to be magical. Plain things are fine, really! ^^;

I'd suggest creating an entirely new character rather than using one you use in another RPG or an anime character. While I will accept anime characters if they fit well into the plot, it's funner to have your own! If you're just too attached to a char you have already, consider a future reincarnation of it!

Please remember that Ryan, the app reveiwer, is not trying to be mean. He's trying to help you have an easier time roleplaying your character, and to give us an easier time knowing what's going on with you. We firmly believe in good roleplaying, and will do many things to help it.
